Mr. Allen Hadnot

Mr. Allen Hadnot is a thirty year veteran in the Construction field.  He joins the Jasper High School team as the Career and Technology Building Trades teacher in August of 2020.  He has worked as Harris and Fort Bend County Community Developer of Residential Homes and Lowes Independent Contractor in Jasper since 2010. Mr. Hadnot has also served as a student assistant girls basketball coach for two years at Angelina College and a junior high and high school basketball official for nineteen years as well as a referee for Jasper’s Little Dribblers. When Mr. Hadnot isn’t spending his time teaching our youth about construction, he spends his time being the Pastor of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Burkeville, Texas and True Light Baptist Church in Merryville, Louisiana.

Allen earned a full basketball scholarship and graduated from Angelina College in 1987 with an Associate Science degree.  He was awarded a student coaching assistant position.  He graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Education.     

Allen is married to Maggie Hadnot and they have four children, Devan, Aleah, Stephen and Stephanie and two grandchildren, Jacob and Jonah. 

Teaching is very rewarding to Allen.  He has taught Sunday school for many years.  He is also thankful for the opportunity to work with other skilled professionals in developing young minds.    

Allen also enjoys hunting, golfing, archery, and spending time with his family.
