Mrs. Carol McFarland

Hello! I am Carol McFarland, one of the Career Technology Education Teacher's at Jasper High School. I teach Business Information Management (BIM). I was an army brat who traveled out of the country and lived in Panama and Germany. After getting my undergrad I traveled to Nairobi Kenya.

I graduated from Duarte High School in California in 1977, attended Citrus College, in Azusa, California and received an Associate of Arts degree in Journalism and later Associate of Science degree in Accounting. I attended Azusa Pacific University in Azusa California and Cal Poly Pomona in Pomona and received a Business Administration degree with a minor in Accounting in 1985. In 1995, I graduated with my Masters in Business Administration.

In 2003, I taught "Human Relations" at Angelina College in Jasper and began working for JISD in 2004. Prior to Jasper, Texas, I worked for businesses mainly in accounting and finance.

My favorite quote: Whatsoever things are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. (Philippians 4:8)
